National Health Center Week 2023

by Alexa Styliadis

National Health Center Week is an annual celebration to raise awareness about the mission and accomplishments of America’s health centers over the past five decades.

Community Health Centers provide comprehensive care to more than 30 million patients at 14,500 sites in the U.S. They are not-for-profit organizations driven by the mission to improve the well-being of medically-underserved communities. By providing highly coordinated and integrated care, Community Health Centers save the healthcare system more than $24 billion annually in reduced emergency, hospital, and specialty care costs. Services at health centers range from basic preventive care to advanced treatment for serious and chronic physical and mental health conditions.

At Trillium Health, we’re a Federally-Qualified Health Center Look-Alike, and we care for everyone. We break down barriers and provide extraordinary care to everyone who walks through our doors. We meet people where they are and create a personalized care plan for each patient. We also go out into the community and provide testing, treatment, education, outreach, and prevention.

During National Health Center Week, it’s important to shine a light on the important work that Community Health Centers are doing and the value they bring to our communities.
