STATEMENT FROM TRILLIUM HEALTH
We have recently learned after a lengthy investigation by law enforcement that a former Trillium Health employee has been charged by the Department of Justice for using Trillium Health’s computer network to unlawfully access personal information of other employees.
There is no indication that this employee accessed patient information in any fashion. At Trillium Health, the privacy of our employees’ and our patients’ information is a matter we take very seriously.
We know how sensitive and hurtful the incident has been to many employees affected by this invasion of personal privacy. We remain committed to offering our assistance to our employees and we remain thankful for all of our devoted employees. We express our sincere appreciation for their continued dedication to selflessly improving the lives of others.
We remain hopeful that justice will rightfully be served. We are here to support the victims, and to continue to provide extraordinary care to our community.
