February 7, 2024 (Rochester, NY) – Trillium Health is proud to announce that excess funds raised for the 2023 Rochester Pride Parade & Festival will be distributed as grants to support LGBTQ+ events and programming throughout the Rochester area.
Every year, funds raised for the Rochester Pride Parade & Festival go into a restricted fund to pay for the two events. If there is a balance in the fund after all the expenditures are met, organizations may apply for a portion of the funding to support LGBTQ+ events and programming.
This year, over $62,000 will be distributed back into the community. The Pride Selection Committee reviewed the applications, and 20 organizations/groups will receive the funding:

- OFC Creations Theatre Center
- Pittsford CommUNITY
- Rainbow Seniors ROC, Inc.

- Rochester LGBTQ+ Together
- Flower City Phoenix Inc
- Rochester Black Pride
- The Avenue Blackbox Theatre
- Rochester Rainbow Union
- Sole Rehab
- Villa of Hope
- WAVE Women Inc
- Wheel & Slab Pottery Club
- The Harley School
