The Rochester Pride Parade and Festival will both take place on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Pride will happen rain or shine! All information can be found at rochesterpride.com.
PARADE
- The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the intersection of South Avenue and Science Parkway. It will travel north along South Avenue and end at Highland Park.
- 205 groups have signed up to march.
FESTIVAL
- The festival will take place in Highland Park from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It will include food, drinks, games, activities, vendor tables, live music, and performances.
- The main entrance is located at 1440 South Avenue. In addition to the main entrance, there will be two other entrances to the Festival – one near the Lilac Adventure Zone off Highland Avenue and one along the path from Elmwood Avenue.
- Tickets: General admission is $5 and VIP tickets are $50. Kids under 12 are free. General admission includes access to entertainment, food trucks, a beer and wine bar, a kid's area, and vendors. VIP tickets are for ages 21+ and include general admission plus a bar that sells beer, wine, and canned cocktails; as well as a lounge area and a private restroom trailer. We recommend avoiding the lines and purchasing tickets in advance at rochesterpride.com or the direct link (here). Tickets will also be available at the gate on the day of the event (cash only). There will be ATMS on-site.
- Vendors: There will be over 100 vendors at the festival.
- Food: There will be 20 food trucks: Chef’s Mobile Kitchen, Christy’s Kettle Corn & Lemonade, Cookie Coma, The Crew’s Grill, Eat Greek, Frios Rochester, G&D Hots, Gorilla Street Hibachi, Ice Cream & Chill, Melt Truck, My Babies Burgers, Neno’s Gourmet Mexican Street Food, Rob’s Kabobs, Roc Bowlevard, Roc Dilla, Roll’n Deep, R&R Takeout and Catering, Shakin’ Smiles Lemonade, Vasko’s on Wheels, Wraps on Wheels.
- Entertainment: There will be a variety of performances from 11:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Cash: We recommend bringing cash. Tickets purchased at the gate will be cash only. Cash will be needed for parking and to buy drinks at the festival. There will be ATMs available on-site.
- Please note: Dogs are not allowed (except for service dogs). Outside food and beverages are not allowed (except for water bottles). Backpacks are not allowed. Folding chairs and wagons/strollers are permitted.
PARKING/SHUTTLE
- Please avoid parking on neighborhood streets. We recommend ride-sharing. Free parking is available in Parking Lot A at MCC (1000 East Henrietta Road, Entrance A), with shuttle service to the Purple Crosswalk on Highland Avenue from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Parking will also be available for $5 (cash only) at the Al Sigl Center (1000 Elmwood Avenue) and in the grass lot between the Al Sigl Center and Meadowbrook Road, starting at 10:00 a.m.
- Free parking for people with disabilities will be available at the Lilac Adventure Zone (249 Highland Avenue).
- An additional shuttle will run continuously between the Purple Crosswalk and Science Parkway from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
STREET CLOSURES
The following street closes at 9:00 a.m.

The following streets close at 10:00 a.m.
- South Avenue from E. Henrietta Rd to Highland Ave
- The east bound lane of Highland Ave at Mt. Hope to South Ave
- The south bound lane of South Ave from Reservoir Rd to Highland Ave
- Elmwood Avenue from Mt. Hope to Goodman St
- All other side streets along that route will have no access to South Ave. (Boothe, Warren, Rosemont, Gold, Langslow, Stewart, May, and Wall)
RPD will reopen streets as soon as it is safe to do so.
