Jason Barnecut-Kearns
Jason Barnecut-Kearns was named Trillium Health’s President and Chief Executive Officer on July 1, 2023. In his previous role, he served as Trillium Health's Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Development Officer, and he was responsible for overseeing the agency's finances, facilities, procurement, supportive services, grant management, FQHC administration, business intelligence, fundraising, and donor engagement. Jason was also responsible for establishing the agency's strategic plan, ensuring that Trillium Health was always looking to the future, mitigating risk, and building on new opportunities.
Prior to joining Trillium Health, Jason was employed by Xerox Corporation for 25 years, where he served as Vice President of Finance. He has experience in global finance oversight and budgeting, strategic planning, management accounting, financial planning, and analysis. Jason holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business studies from Bournemouth University and he is certified as a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA/GCMA), as well as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Jason currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bivona Child Advocacy Center as Treasurer and he is a member of the Executive Committee. He also serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Community Health Care Association of New York State (CHCANYS) and he is a member of the Finance & Audit Committee and the Public Policy Committee. Additionally, Jason is a member of the Finance Committee of Accountable Health Partners.
Jason previously served on Trillium Health’s Board of Directors as Vice Chair of the Finance/Audit Committee and Board Treasurer. In addition, he served on the board of Out Alliance, GALAXe Pride at Work and Make A Wish.
Jason is a recipient of the Rochester Business Journal's Financial Leaders Award, the Power List for LGBTQ+ Business Leaders, the Power 30 List for Health Care, the Power 100 List, and City & State's 2024 Above & Beyond: Pride List.
