2018 AIDS Red Ribbon Ride Rescheduled for Sept. 29 - Oct. 1

Aug 15, 2018

The ride is set to gear up once again from September 29 - October 1!

Due to Governor Cuomo’s declaration of a State of Emergency throughout 14 counties in New York that will be in effect until August 21, Trillium Health’s annual AIDS Red Ribbon Ride that was scheduled to take place August 18-22 had to be postponed. This difficult decision has come from Trillium Health leadership in order to protect the safety of our riders, crew, and volunteers. Unfortunately, many areas that had been planned for the bike route and overnight camping have been damaged. Many have worked hard in preparation for this event, and Trillium Health holds a deep passion for this ride and the people we support through its fundraising. We're pleased to announce that the ride has been rescheduled for September 29 - October 1, 2018!

Trillium Health would also like to express our deepest concern for the many New Yorkers who have been impacted by the severe flooding in recent days and hope that all those affected are able to return to their homes and workplaces soon. We offer our gratitude to all first responders who continue to work diligently to assist the displaced and repair damaged infrastructure, public parks, and other areas. The AIDS Red Ribbon Ride, which raises funds to help End the Epidemic by 2020, is a beloved tradition, and we could not be more proud of all involved. We are incredibly grateful for the time and effort our devoted sponsors and organizers have put into coordinating a great ride.  If you have any questions, please contact Matt Ragusa at mragusa@trilliumhealth.org.
