how it works

  • An average visit will take 45 minutes - 1 hour. Please arrive 5 minutes early to your scheduled appointment time to check in.

  • Rapid test results will be available the same-day (approximately 20 minutes). Other tests take an average of 3-5 business days. Results can be accessed through your patient portal, or can be mailed, texted, or shared via phone call.

  • If any of your test results are positive, we can connect you to care. If your HIV test is positive, you will receive confirmatory bloodwork testing. Trillium Health offers many medical and supportive services for people living with HIV. For more information click here. If your STD test is positive, you will be connected to a healthcare provider. Many STDs are treatable. For more information click here.

  • If you are experiencing symptoms of an STD (burning, itching, discharge, etc.) you'll need to book a same-day test & treat appointment with one of our medical providers at the Sexual Health Clinic. These visits are not free; they are billed to your insurance. We accept all insurance types and can even help you find insurance if you need it!

If you are not experiencing symptoms and just want to get tested for peace of mind, you can book a free, in-person testing appointment with one of our Community Health Specialists at any of our three locations.
