Originally from Trinidad, West Indies, Dr. Penelope Parris has called Rochester home for the past 20 years. Dr. Parris is board certified in general pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her medical degree from the University of Buffalo and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Maryland.
Penny is well versed in today’s evidenced based pediatric care. She is a clinical instructor at the University of Rochester Medical Center and has admitting privileges at Golisano Children’s Hospital, Highland Hospital and Rochester General Hospital.
She is also actively involved in our community, serving as a board member on the Volunteers of America of Upstate New York and as the Medical Director of Monroe County’s Foster Care Clinic.
