Today, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. - a trailblazer in the Civil Rights Movement and one of the greatest nonviolent leaders in world history. Dr. King used the power of words and acts of nonviolent resistance to achieve seemingly impossible goals that forever changed our nation.

Dr. King profoundly stated, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” Here at Trillium Health, we are proud to be a voice for all by creating an environment where everyone who walks through our doors is accepted. It is crucial that we do not stay silent when we are faced with injustices, not just in our organization, but in the Rochester community as a whole. Please take a moment today to pause and think about the path Dr. King paved, and how it moved our nation towards a more just society.
