We've Gone Virtual!

Join us in Solidarity for HIV/AIDS Awareness!

This year, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our annual AIDS Red Ribbon Ride will be held throughout the entire month of August with participants riding, walking, or running on their own time to comply with social distance measures. Join us by choosing your own Rochester neighborhood or suburb you'd like to create your route in any day in August, and then share your progress with us on social media to stay connected! Use the hashtag #ARRR2020 to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS and to show your solidarity.

The AIDS Red Ribbon Ride has been a 5-day ride since its inception over 10 years ago, as an evolution of the Empire State AIDS Ride. Over the years, the route has changed, and the parks have shifted, but the Ride has continued. We are excited to embark on a new journey this year by including riders, walkers, and runners of all ages in our annual event.

HIV/AIDS is still an active threat to all of us. While we have gained better tools to fight this virus, the epidemic is not over. Many communities face obstacles to care and treatment, and the stigma of HIV/AIDS is still pervasive. We ride to save lives, stop new infections, and advocate for those who have no voice. The money raised will help fund several important efforts, including HIV treatment, prevention (including PrEP), and education. Visit our website to learn more!

Together, we can End the Epidemic.
