HIV/STD/Hep C Testing Schedule

 

Trillium Health Main Office

Each test encounter includes a personalized risk assessment, testing, and risk reduction counseling with a trained HIV test counselor. Testing encounters take an average of 45 minutes. Please keep in mind that connections to other Trillium services (such as PrEP/PEP, STI Treatment, Primary Care) will add time to your visit.

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8 am – 5:30 pm*

Tuesday: 8:00 am – 6:30 pm*

Saturday: 8:00 am – 3:30 pm**

*Please note, the lab is closed for lunch from 12:40 - 1:40 pm.

**The lab closes at 1pm on Saturday.

Deaf2 HIV Testing Video Line Service

Trillium Health, through partnership with the University of Rochester’s National Center for Deaf Health Research (NCDHR), offers HIV/Hep C/STI test counseling with a deaf counselor through video, while a Trillium tester performs the HIV test and connects to STI testing and other services on-site, at the following times:

Monday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Tuesday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Thursday: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Testing methods

  • Rapid HIV: Alere Determine™HIV-1/2 Ag/Ab Combo, finger stick – results in 20 minutes
  • HIV confirmatory testing: Blood drawn at on-site lab – results given in 5 business days
  • Rapid Hep C: OraQuick® HCV Rapid Antibody Test, finger stick – results in 20 minutes
  • STI: Urine collection for gonorrhea & chlamydia screening, blood drawn at on-site lab for syphilis screening – results in 3 business days, negative results are given as requested
