COVID-19 Testing FAQs:
- Community members who have symptoms of COVID-19 or who have had close contact with a person with symptoms of COVID-19
- Healthcare workers
- Essential workers
- Community members who are going back to work and need a COVID-19 test
- Community members who have attended a large gathering and it has been at least 4 days after the last possible exposure
- You must be at least 16 years old
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
Callers will speak with a Registered Nurse who will determine the appropriate next steps. This guidance may include recovering at home and maintaining social distancing, participating in a telehealth video visit with a Trillium Health care provider, or being seen in person at Trillium Health's COVID-19 Respiratory Evaluation Area at 259 Monroe Avenue.
Yes, walk-ins are welcome. While appointments are no longer required, they are still preferred; patients can reserve a time by calling Trillium’s COVID-19 Hotline at 585-545-7292.
Appointments are scheduled Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 259 Monroe Avenue.
Individuals with an appointment should check-in at the tent on the southeast side of 259 Monroe Avenue (not the clinic entrance). Trillium Health will have representatives near the main entrances to assist with directions to the Respiratory Evaluation Area. This is not a drive-thru setting and parking will be managed onsite.
Please bring your ID, insurance card, and a mask if you have one (if not, a mask will be provided onsite). Please do not bring children with you to your appointment.
Results will be available within 24-72 hours.
