Prescription Drug Discount Programs are a Vital Lifeline for Trillium Health
Trillium Health is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC) Look-Alike that depends on the ability to buy prescription medicine at a reduced price in order to provide comprehensive healthcare services and medicines at little-to-no cost to its patients through the federal 340B drug discount program. The reduction of 340B savings would severely impact Trillium Heath’s ability to provide extraordinary care for people from all backgrounds, regardless of income, sexual orientation, gender identity, race, or ethnicity.

At Trillium Health, we serve the underserved.
Many of Trillium Health’s patients have complex needs, high rates of chronic conditions, and high rates of social risk factors associated with poor health outcomes, such as poverty and homelessness. Our community health center has successfully promoted health equity in Rochester and the Finger Lakes thanks to the critically important savings derived from the 340B program.
A Successful, Growing Agency
Trillium Health has a multidisciplinary team approach to patient-centered care that includes medical providers, nurses, clinical pharmacists, dietitians, care managers and peer navigators.

Community Outreach
The reduction of 340B savings would have a devastating impact on Trillium Health. It would threaten our patients with HIV, and it would undermine our success in addressing health disparities, particularly within communities of color. Finally, the timing couldn’t be any worse – COVID-19 already has disproportionately affected communities of color and people with preexisting conditions.
